Dimensions: 40 x 56 cm (15,75 x 22 inches).

The battle ships "Goeben" and "Breslau" bombarding the Algerian coast. Rotogravure in sepia by Willie Simon, Berlin. Signed on base left. Oxidation on borders.
[Lithograph of Hellenic interest. The ships "Goeben" and "Breslau" after being pursued by the allies in the Aegean sea, ended up in Constantinople and surrendered by the Germans to the Turkish navy. The Turks named them ‘Jawuz Sultan Selim’ (Magnificent Sultan Selim) and ‘Midilli’ (Mytilene) and assigned them to the Turkish navy].
